Our vessels support several applications ranging from extraction, RESS (rapid expansion of supercritical solutions) and SAS (supercritical anti-solvent). Counter current column uses CO2 as an alternative to the more conventional solvent columns to perform multi-stage separations. Unlike conventional extractions the feed is introduced as a liquid. The Various components in the feed then distribute themselves between the CO2 and the liquid phase, which flow counter to one another in the separation column
