Core P1k

Using the same core design as our P500 pump, the P1K delivers a increase in performance without compromising reliability. Delivering 1kg/min at pressures up to 400 bar this pump is suitable for reactors up to 25 L.

The P1K is a high-capacity, industrial-grade pump built on the proven P500 chassis, engineered for continuous, high-throughput fluid delivery. Designed to handle liquid CO₂, solvents, and water, the P1K delivers flow rates of up to 1 kg/min at pressures up to 400 bar, making it an ideal solution for supercritical fluid generation, pilot-scale extraction, process development, and industrial fluid transfer applications.

Powered by a robust AC motor and gearbox drive, the P1K offers durable, long-life performance in demanding environments. It supports two operating modes: flow mode, providing steady and accurate dosing; and pressure mode, which maintains a set pressure during discharge through fixed nozzles or flow restrictions. As with the P500, pressure control is limited to dynamic flow conditions and is not suitable for closed static systems due to the nature of the industrial drive system.
With its enhanced flow capacity and industrial-grade construction, the P1K offers reliable, scalable performance for high-volume operations. Backed by Core Separations’ 30+ years of experience in high-pressure CO₂ systems, the P1K is the ideal platform for large-scale supercritical processes and fluid delivery challenges.
