Supercritical Pressure Vessel – EV10
The EV10, part of Core Separations’ EV Mini Series, features a 10 mL volume capacity suited for the smallest sample sizes and is fitted with a 5 µm filter for efficient particulate retention. It is a high-pressure, high-performance extraction and reaction vessel designed for small-scale research, development, and precise sample preparation prior to extract analysis.
Designed with usability and safety in mind, the EV Series features an innovative threaded cap and energised sprung seal that allows for quick, tool-free opening and closing—perfect for rapid testing cycles in laboratory environments.
Each vessel is machined from high-strength 17-4PH stainless steel, which is approximately 60% stronger than standard 300 series stainless steels. This strength allows for reduced wall thickness and overall weight, improving thermal conductivity and enhancing heat transfer efficiency—critical for temperature-sensitive extraction and reaction processes.

Maintainence and Repair of our CO2 Pressure Vessels
Although our CO2 vessels have been designed for 10,000’s of pressure cycles, the repeated removal of the head to charge and discharge the pressure vessels contents acts to wear the seal. A regular schedule of maintanence ensures that the CO2 vessels keep working for longer periods and reducing the downtime to your research and production schedules.
