Supercritical Pressure Vessel – EV3L
The EV3L bridges the gap between research and pilot-scale production, delivering larger batch sizes that generate meaningful process data while maintaining a scalable aspect ratio for easy scale-up. Like all vessels in the Core Separations EV Series, the EV3L is a high-pressure, high-performance extraction and reaction platform built to support applications from early-stage development through to process optimisation.
Engineered for ease of use and safety, the EV Series incorporates an innovative threaded cap, energised sprung seal, and a two-headed design. This not only allows tool-free access from both ends for fast cleaning but also helps to prevent premature seal wear, ensuring long-term reliability under pressure.
Constructed from high-strength 17-4PH stainless steel—around 60% stronger than 300 series stainless steels—the vessels are lighter, with thinner walls that deliver enhanced heat transfer efficiency.

Maintainence and Repair of our CO2 Pressure Vessels
Although our CO2 vessels have been designed for 10,000’s of pressure cycles, the repeated removal of the head to charge and discharge the pressure vessels contents acts to wear the seal. A regular schedule of maintanence ensures that the CO2 vessels keep working for longer periods and reducing the downtime to your research and production schedules.
