Supercritical Pressure Vessel – EV10L
The Core Separations EV10L is a pilot-scale extraction and reaction vessel engineered for producing small material batches that can be taken directly into downstream processes. Designed for supercritical CO₂ extraction, sample preparation, and process development, the EV10L offers a reliable bridge from research and development to pilot-scale production.
Part of the Core Separations EV Series, the EV10L is a high-pressure, high-performance vessel built to support scalable CO₂ extraction and reaction applications. Its innovative two-headed design, threaded cap, and energised sprung seal allow for tool-free access from both ends, ensuring fast cleaning, reduced downtime, and extended seal life under demanding conditions.
Manufactured from 17-4PH stainless steel—which is 60% stronger than 300 series stainless steels—the EV10L achieves lighter weight, thinner walls, and superior heat transfer efficiency. These features make it ideal for temperature-sensitive extractions and high-pressure pilot-scale processes, ensuring performance, safety, and scalability.

Maintainence and Repair of our CO2 Pressure Vessels
Although our CO2 vessels have been designed for 10,000’s of pressure cycles, the repeated removal of the head to charge and discharge the pressure vessels contents acts to wear the seal. A regular schedule of maintanence ensures that the CO2 vessels keep working for longer periods and reducing the downtime to your research and production schedules.
